To be honest, I find it dissapointing as most 'new' ana sites...

It has a very nice design but everything written on there is very unoriginal and copied and pasted from every other clone site..how many times do I need to read the same quotes, recipes, safe foods, ED diagnosis...

Sigh, I wish their were more original sites...

Haha!!!! That's my site!!... and out of curiosity, Googled it, and found this.

Believe it or not, I actually did write everything on there myself - excluding the contributions from others on the arts pages - but I appreciate your honesty. I'm sorry that it sounds "copied and pasted" :(... the ironic thing is, I was really hoping to put a different spin on things. I didn't want to create a "lolz I <3 ana" kind of site, but I also didn't feel like constantly warning so-called "wannabes" how dangerous anorexia is and how it's not a lifestyle, etc.

Your honest opinion: What could I do to make the site feel more original? I've been feeling like there's only so much you can say about eds... like you said, diagnoses, quotes, safe foods, etc (but at least the recipes are my own, except the soup =/ ). I really would like to hear your - or anybody's - suggestions.

Thanks,
Riley

Hey I totally agree with you I think an ed site is what the people who visit it make it...if you know what I mean...you have to find the right people which is a hell of a lot easier said than done!!

Heres the link to my site:
http://eds-secret.wetpaint.com/

Aesthetically its quite plain but I try to keep it original and cover most angles and lifestyle situations its just getting people to visit. So any feedback would be much appreciated. :]

I think I get what you're saying, JJ.

I guess it really is difficult to seem interesting when there are so many sites out there, and only so much factual information. Maybe it's because creating such a site requires a unique balance - you want your place to have a personal feel, yet you don't want to reveal too much of yourself..

What do you think, JJ? Any feedback or ideas on how to make my place less "unoriginal"?

I'll have to take a look at yours later today. I'm always interested to see what other people have built...

Hey riley, sorry its taken so long,
Really liked your site!! I like that you show how "thinspo" pics are often digitally altered its an eye opener I haven't come across before :]
If I'm honest I didn't think it was all that "unoriginal"...I've added you to my list of recommended sites too.
