"Have you ever forced anyone else to eat just to make yourself feel better? I do this with my my boyfriend all the time. We live together, so I constantly fill the fridge with junk food and force him to eat as soon as he gets home from work or gets up in the morning. And when he doesn't eat, I get hysterical and feel stupid afterwards. Does anyone else do this?
It just feels so comforting watching someone else eat when you're not, makes me feel stronger."
i always do this with my boyfriend too. we live together also and i do exactly the same. it's like i get strength from him eating but me not needing to. then at the same time it's like i am vicariously getting full just by watching him eat.

"Until your kids realize the "naughty" snacks are normal food and they end up just like the rest of us! Good luck with that! Kids are kids, let them be...if you don't like food that's fine, but don't control how your kids eat!"
You know,...I am not agree because now even at school in UK is huge pressure on kids to eat healthy. I have been awarded for
providing a good EFFECTIVE diet to my daughter who used to be 98 pounds last September. Now she is a normal kid. And she
knows well what food is good or not good. She is also aware of her body and she hate her being fat before.
Happiness is bigger than her cravings. She learn good habits and I don't need to worry about her at all.
I never ve done anything without thinking twice, especially to my children.

About being a kid, that is not mean they can everything what they want. And I am a mother to show them where is a border.
With Your philosophy my daughter could be like an elephant.
In the future do not let Your kids being just a kids, You need to make their "path" to future life.!!!

i do that too..
:/
i always want other people that i know eat normallyy to eat but i thinkk i do it because i don't want other people to go throughh it..
i dunno..
it's like,, i have one mate who i know suffers the same as me& i wouldn't dream of telling her to eat,, yet when i'm withh the guyy i'm kinda seeing,, i'm always like 'ohh,, lets get youu something to eat..'
the onlyy problem withh me doing that is that person normallyy wants me to eat too so i have to thinkk of a quickk excuse..
:/

sometimes i get hysterical when my boyfriend doesn't clean his plate, eat his whole bowl of macaroni, or takes all the bread off his burgers/subs and just eats the meat/veggies

he has the appetite of a rabbit and doesn't try at all..
i guess i get upset, because i know if i were the one eating the food he has, i would be like the cookie monster and just go crazy eating it.. and then have to run upstairs and purge purge purge :(

i wish i just "wasn't hungry" like he is all the time

i guess i'd say i'm somewhat guilty of this. if i make dinner for the family, i'll make enough for everyone but myself. i know they all have big appetites and will eat big proportions, so by the time they have their plates loaded up with food, there's hardly anything left for me which i'll just push around on my plate or nibble at if they're suspicious.

also my brothers love junk food, if there is any in the house, i'll casually ask them, "hey did you know we have _______ here?" and they'll either say "yeah, bring me some!" or "no, bring me some!" .... they're so piggish.
